Verification of components before the assembly cycle:
Mechanic control in form milled fixture. Sensors, inductive, capacitive, laser etc. The vision system takes pictures for measuring etc.

During the assembly cycle:
Verification of all movement during the cycle. Verification of components if necessary.

After the assembly cycle:
The vision system verifies that the parts are assembled correctly and controls are carried out in order to check important dimensions.

Our standard assembly machines have a frame with variable height, lockable wheels, illumination, pneumatic system and a Lantz control system with 96 I/O’s. The operating system is Windows Embedded and we use an industrial PC with flash memory instead of a hard drive.

Doing the right thing at the right time is crucial if you want to achieve high quality in the shortest possible time. Our system provides you with information and control in real-time. The operator always knows what he/she is supposed to do. The system always verifies that all parts are assembled correctly.

Human faults are unavoidable and the operator will see any fault in graphics and as a text message immediately. Any unsuccessful movement will be detected by the means of a time-out error . If we do not get a signal within the expected time we will display the input number and name – “Timeout on input no. 14 – Assembly cylinder +”. This saves a lot of time. Production statistics can be saved automatically to a USB memory stick or to another computer via local area networking.
