Our crimp system for hose assemblies is our main product since many years. Our openable crimp heads have been well-proven during the years and it’s still the smallest on the market. Only 75 mm from crimp centre to the front of the crimp head. This makes it possible to crimp many tubes with a close bend and avoid an extra bend operation after.

The machine has adjustable working height, illumination, light curtain safety guard and our Lantz PC based control system. The machine can be easily moved with a hand operated fork lift.

Now, we also have the ability to supply the machine with Lantz SFM, an advanced quality and assembly system that verify the tube insertion cycle. The system verifies that the hose end has bottomed out in the socket before crimping.

The machine can be equipped with 1-4 crimp heads. In some cases you may want to crimp a tuner socket at the same time so you may need more than 2 heads. The assembly tube orientation fixture can in some cases be equipped with a hydraulic bend tool if you need to increase a bend after crimping. Please contact us for more info.

Doing the right thing at the right time is crucial if you want to achieve high quality in the shortest possible time. Our system provides you with information and control in real-time. The operator always knows what he/she is supposed to do. The system always verify that all parts are assembled correctly.

Human faults are unavoidable and the operator will see any fault in graphics and as a text message immediately. Any unsuccessful movement will be detected by the means of a time-out error . If we do not get a signal within the expected time we will display the input number and name – “Timeout on input no. 14 – Assembly cylinder +”. This saves a lot of time. Production statistics can be saved automatically to a USB memory stick or to another computer via local area networking.

Our pneumatic crimp machine LPR 3225E is used for simpler products where you don’t need an openable crimp head. It may be tuner sockets for power steering, air conditioning, fuel, brake or other industrial applications with sheet metal socket (bubble profile). For a tuner application it has sensors for hose, tuner and socket in position, to verify that all parts are in position before allowing the crimp cycle to begin.

The machine is simple, small and needs only 6 bar air and 230V, 50/60 Hz.

It can be delivered with a vertical or a horizontal head.
