Machines for pressure testing and cleaning

We have long experience in pressure testing, leak testing and cleanliness. Here the expression “weakest link in the chain” is really valid. When you wash a tube it’s very important that you get the pressure drop in the test object and not in the machine. We have developed a system of sandwich valves, pressure transformers, etc which we need in the system. We are practically the only ones in the market who use servo hydraulics to generate the test pressure. It costs more than pneumatic intensifiers but the advantages are significant.


Test cycle

Everything that happens is individual for each hose. All times and values are configurable by the operator.

  • The door closes and the hoses are clamped with higher force
  • Filling of the system and washing in both directions
  • Flow test. Result for example ”2.34 l/min”. Lower and upper alarm limit in article data.
  • Volume expansion test. Result “42 ml”. Lower and upper alarm limit in article data.
  • High pressure cleaning with “200 bar” pressure drop in both directions.
  • Pressurization with “50 bar/s” up to “300 bar”
  • Stabilisation of the pressure for “10” seconds
  • Leak search cycle for “10 seconds”. Alarm limit for pressure drop will automatically be adjusted to “2 bar” . The system has an automatic teach in function.
  • Depressurization to 0 bar
  • Dry blowing of the hose assembly for “10 seconds” in both directions
  • Approved hoses will be marked
  • The door opens
  • Unapproved hoses must be released manually - hold button for 2 seconds

The machine is produced in non corrosive materials. The clamp tools can be moved and rotated depending of the hose assembly’s geometry. Horizontal layout of the clamp manifolds gives the most ergonomic situation but a bigger and more expensive machine. Automatic doors also with vertical clamp system. Test chambers and machine room are separated.

The pictures show a fully equipped machine with flow- and volume expansion measuring. Each hose is tested individually.

The machine has 3 different filters and achieves very good cleanliness results. Oil or water based test liquid can be used.

The control system is based on the Lantz standard software. All information you need is available and is also saved as text in a log/statistics file. Graphic I/O view makes it easier to locate faults. All digital I/O’s can be read or set, as well as analog signals.
The rear of the machine holds an easily accessible and illuminated service room. The hydraulic power pack is mounted on rubber shoes. Electric motor on rubber flange and with lower speed gives you a low noise level.
