Camera verification system


 

Lantztech vision system can be fully integrated in all machines or be used in a standalone measuring unit. The above picture show an automatic system for use in a robot cell. 

Each tube end is verified with 2 telecentric profile camera units. This give us the XYZ axis orientation in 3D between the tube ends. Diameters, radii, angles, distances etc is also measured and verified from 2 directions which also catch most of the ovality errors.

Unit for verification of the crimped hose after crimping. The unit is fully integrated in the machine and the hose must be approved before it's possible to crimp another.

Crimp diameter, fitting types, total length etc can be verified.


 

 

Software user interface in a manual control station. Approved measurments are green, approved but outside control limit is blue and unapproved measurments is red. The system can measure distances, angles, radii and diameters, excentricity and it can also combine measurements if you want to search for a diameter position etc. All data can be exported. Each measure will show CP, CPK and average value. The vision software can be fully integrated in all Lantztech machines.


 

 

 

 

The vision editor is same for all type of measuring, verification, picture analyze etc. It's simple to learn and use. You make a number of tests, measurements, analyzes under a sequence. The sequence can then be used in the machine as an input.

A large number of tools can be used. Preconfigured tools for different shapes, picture analyzes, bar codes, thread measuring etc make the editor to a very competent tool for verification.


 

 

Vision module's output: The vision module find 2 O-rings of correct color within a specific distance. The test can be OK or NOK.

 

The vision result/output is used in the machine software to detect if the tube have 2 O-rings or not. In this case it's not approved as the camera check is red.
